Purpose and Scope
This Refund Policy governs the conditional Challenge Fee Refund benefit offered by VOLT Trade Funding ("VOLT") to eligible Traders participating in its Two-Step Challenge programs.
The Challenge Fee Refund is a performance-based benefit subject to successful evaluation completion, Funded Stage approval, a formal refund request, and compliance with this Policy.
This Policy applies to eligible Two-Step Challenge purchases unless different refund conditions were expressly agreed at the time of purchase.
It does not remove, restrict, or replace any mandatory statutory refund, cancellation, or consumer protection rights.
Challenge Fee Refund Eligibility
To qualify for a Challenge Fee Refund, the Trader must satisfy all of the following conditions:
2.1 Successful Completion of Step 1
The Trader must successfully complete all objectives and requirements of Step 1, including the applicable profit target, risk-management limits, trading conditions, and other program rules.
2.2 Successful Completion of Step 2
The Trader must successfully complete all objectives and requirements of Step 2, including the applicable profit target, risk-management limits, trading conditions, and other program rules.
2.3 Funded Stage Approval
After successfully completing Step 1 and Step 2, the Trader must pass VOLT's verification and compliance review and receive approval to progress to the Funded Stage.
2.4 KYC Verification
The Trader must have successfully completed all required KYC and identity-verification procedures.
2.5 Trading Compliance
The Trader's trading activity must comply with the applicable rules throughout both evaluation stages.
2.6 Approved First Funded Stage Payout
The Trader must become eligible for, and receive approval of, their first qualifying Funded Stage payout.
2.7 Formal Refund Request
The Trader must submit an explicit Challenge Fee Refund request by email, and VOLT must approve that request before the first eligible payout is processed.
Satisfying the evaluation conditions alone does not automatically trigger a refund.
Non-Refundable Challenge Fees
A Trader will not qualify for the conditional Challenge Fee Refund if they fail to complete the applicable evaluation requirements or incur a qualifying account breach.
Disqualifying circumstances include, without limitation:
- Exceeding the applicable Daily Drawdown limit.
- Exceeding the applicable Maximum Drawdown limit.
- Failing to achieve the required Step 1 or Step 2 Profit Target within any published evaluation deadline.
- Violating an applicable Consistency Rule.
- Using prohibited trading strategies.
- Engaging in account sharing or unauthorized account management.
- Copying trades between accounts belonging to different individuals.
- Engaging in prohibited coordinated trading or trading manipulation.
- Providing false identity or account information.
- Violating another applicable trading rule that expressly constitutes a disqualifying breach under the account conditions.
If an evaluation remains active and its permitted completion period has not expired, a Profit Target that has not yet been achieved does not, by itself, constitute a failed evaluation.
Where a Trader fails Step 1 or Step 2, or their account is terminated for a confirmed disqualifying breach, the Challenge fee is not refundable under this performance-based benefit.
This section does not affect any refund legally required because of a billing error, failure to provide purchased services, statutory withdrawal right, or other applicable legal entitlement.
Refunds Are Not Automatic
VOLT does not automatically initiate, credit, or process a Challenge Fee Refund when a Trader completes Step 1, completes Step 2, or becomes eligible for the Funded Stage.
The Trader is responsible for expressly requesting the refund.
No refund will be automatically added to a Funded Stage account, payout request, or payment where the Trader has not submitted the required email request and received approval.
How to Request a Challenge Fee Refund
After completing both evaluation stages and receiving Funded Stage approval, the Trader must contact VOLT by email.
- Send the request to
- support@voltfunding.com
- Email subject
- Challenge Fee Refund Request — [Account Number]
The request must include:
- 1Trader's full legal name.
- 2Registered email address.
- 3Challenge account number.
- 4Original order number.
VOLT may reasonably request additional information or payment verification where necessary to identify the purchase and verify eligibility.
The request must be received before the Trader's first eligible Funded Stage payout is processed.
Submitting an email does not constitute automatic approval.
Refund Verification and Approval
Upon receiving a valid request, VOLT will review the Trader's account and payment records.
The review will confirm:
- Successful completion of Step 1.
- Successful completion of Step 2.
- Approval to progress to the Funded Stage.
- Completion of all required KYC verification.
- Compliance with the applicable trading and risk-management rules.
- Absence of disqualifying account breaches.
- Validity of the original Challenge purchase and order number.
- Eligibility of the first Funded Stage payout.
- Confirmation that a Challenge Fee Refund has not already been applied to the same qualifying purchase.
VOLT may approve or reject the request based on the published eligibility conditions and verified evidence.
If a request is rejected, VOLT will provide the relevant reason and permit the Trader to contact Support if they believe an error occurred.
Refund Amount
For eligible Two-Step Challenge accounts, the approved Challenge Fee Refund will equal 100% of the eligible Challenge fee actually paid for the relevant purchase, after any applied discount.
For example, a Trader who pays $100 for the Challenge may qualify for a $100 Challenge Fee Refund.
The refund benefit applies once per qualifying Challenge purchase and cannot exceed the eligible Challenge fee paid.
Any separately stated statutory taxes or payment-provider charges must be handled in accordance with applicable law and the disclosures provided at checkout.
When and How the Refund Is Paid
An approved Challenge Fee Refund will be added to the Trader's first eligible and approved Funded Stage payout.
The refund:
- Is not issued immediately after Step 1 completion.
- Is not issued immediately after Step 2 completion.
- Is not issued automatically after Funded Stage approval.
- Is not paid as a separate Challenge Fee Refund transfer.
- Is included only after a valid email request and VOLT approval.
- Is processed together with the first qualifying Funded Stage payout.
If the Trader does not qualify for an approved Funded Stage payout, the conditional Challenge Fee Refund will not be released.
For this Policy, the first eligible payout means the first Funded Stage reward payment that satisfies all payout conditions and is approved for processing.
Refund Calculation Example
A Trader purchases a Two-Step Challenge and pays $100.
The Trader completes both evaluation stages, passes KYC and compliance review, and receives Funded Stage approval.
The Trader then emails VOLT requesting the Challenge Fee Refund and receives confirmation that the request has been approved.
The Trader's first eligible Funded Stage trading reward is $1,000.
| Description | Amount |
|---|---|
| First approved Funded Stage trading reward | $1,000 |
| Approved Challenge Fee Refund | $100 |
| Total first payout | $1,100 |
The $1,100 represents the combined payment before any applicable taxes, legally required deductions, or disclosed payment-provider fees.
The $100 refund is included as a separately identified component of the payout.
Requests Not Submitted Before the First Payout
The Trader is responsible for submitting the Challenge Fee Refund request before their first eligible Funded Stage payout is processed.
If the Trader does not submit an email request, VOLT will not automatically credit the refund.
Under this first-payout-only benefit, a request first received after the initial approved Funded Stage payout has been processed will not qualify for a later promotional Challenge Fee Refund, unless applicable law requires otherwise or VOLT expressly agrees to a correction.
This request deadline must be communicated to the Trader before purchase and again when the Trader enters the Funded Stage.
Processing and Payment Conditions
Approval of a refund request does not independently create an immediate payment obligation.
The Challenge Fee Refund is payable only as part of the qualifying first Funded Stage payout.
If an initial payout request is not approved because its eligibility conditions have not yet been met, the refund remains pending until the first payout is approved, provided the Trader's refund eligibility remains valid.
If a valid first payout is already approved and pending processing, VOLT may include the refund only after the required email request and compliance approval have been completed.
Refund processing may be delayed for reasonable verification, compliance, or payment-provider requirements.
Multiple Challenge Accounts
Each Challenge purchase is reviewed separately.
A Trader with multiple accounts must submit the relevant Challenge account number and order number for each refund claim.
Successful completion of one Challenge does not create refund eligibility for another Challenge that has failed, breached, or remains incomplete.
Any account aggregation or payout combination must comply with VOLT's applicable account rules and payment procedures.
Duplicate Requests and Previous Refunds
A Challenge Fee Refund may be paid only once for the same qualifying purchase.
Duplicate submissions do not create additional entitlement.
VOLT may reject duplicate or fraudulent refund requests and investigate inconsistencies in accordance with its fraud prevention and compliance procedures.
Refund Disputes and Support
If a Trader believes that a refund request was incorrectly rejected, the Trader may request a review through VOLT's official Support channel.
The request should include the original order number, account details, and any relevant supporting information.
VOLT will examine the dispute against the applicable rules and available records.
Nothing in this Policy restricts any legally available payment dispute, consumer complaint, or other statutory remedy.
Changes to the Refund Policy
VOLT may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in products, operations, or legal requirements.
The refund conditions presented and accepted at purchase will continue to apply to that purchase unless a valid contractual amendment or applicable law provides otherwise.
